About Alex

I bring over 13 years of experience in supporting individual adults and teens, couples, and groups navigate life's complexities. Specializing in trauma, couples, and healing for adult children of narcissistic parents, I offer a holistic approach rooted in existential-humanistic psychology. My diverse training in various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, psychodynamic, and Gestalt therapy, allows me to create a safe space for clients to foster self-compassion and make meaningful changes. I also lead support groups for men, divorce, adult children of narcissistic parents, and psychedelic integration, reflecting my belief that the wounds rooted in relationship can only be healed in relationship.

About Baloo

Meet Baloo! This four legged furry house hippo has been by Alex's side for the last 3 years. Baloo joins Alex in the office to supplement your therapy with extra warmth, playfulness, and comedic relief. Baloo's favorite activities include hiking, playing chase, chewing on bones, butt scratches, and snoozing. Baloo will likely greet you with a wagging tail and a few kisses before laying down for his 10th nap of the day.

The Space

Just when you thought there no more secret river spots left ...

I am a very big believer that our spatial environment impacts our experience. I wanted a peaceful and rejuvenating office space that not only I would look forward to being in, but my clients would, too. When you pull up to the building it won't seem like anything special, but once you enter the space you will be enchanted by unobstructed river views away from the crowds and teeming with wildlife. Here you can watch the geese and ducks swimming along as you reflect on what weighs heaviest on your heart, soul, and mind. If you're lucky you may even find a bald eagle on the hunt hunt or a family of otters playing in the water!
